Embracing My True Passion
Since as long as I can remember I have been in love with the Chinese language, its artistic character and its poetic sound. It has instilled in me inherent moral values and great pride in my very rich native culture.
A few years ago when I got the opportunity to teach this lovely language, I knew I had found my calling. When I was imparting this knowledge to my students, it transformed me into another world, and, if I may humbly add, it transformed my students and took them into a magical new world they knew nothing about. My teaching excited them, opened their mind to new horizons and I loved being at the centre of it all.

Since then my mission has been to teach not just the language, but its very essence and true meaning. I believe I have been blessed with the ability to spread this knowledge I have within me and I want to utilize this gift to the best of my ability!
It took me some years to embrace my journey into teaching this language. I used to be a highly passionate corporate professional. Crunching numbers, analyzing complex and competitive FOREX markets with very consistent records. My experiences, covering almost a decade, will always stay with me, and I will in my heart always cherish those years.
My years as a corporate trader have given me a strong sense of dedication and have taught me the value of hard work. More importantly they have instilled in me a sense of entrepreneurship, and I got courage to go ahead and start my own Chinese training centre – Happy Mandarin.
Happy Mandarin, is almost like a culmination of all my life experiences. I am lucky to be able to combine my passion to teach and my corporate skills into one and introduce my language in the right way.
None of this would have been possible without the love I receive from my family. I am a very proud mother of four and I learn so much from each one of them every single day! They are all at different age groups and I use all the experience I get from bringing them up for all my students. From being a native Chinese to an Emirati business woman living in Dubai, the journey has been very fulfilling.
I feel I am in the right place at the right time. Dubai, offers such a wonderful cosmopolitan atmosphere. I get so much pleasure making my two wonderful cultures interact.
In my own small way, I reduce barriers between two nations. That to me is my biggest accomplishment.
