Teens & Young Adults Mandarin

The course is meticulously designed to enhance teenagers’ and young adults’ communicative proficiency in Chinese, focusing on language structures, functions, and cultural insights. Through extensive practice and exercises, students develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while mastering essential grammar and vocabulary. We promote the correct use of sentence structure and rules for its formation. Happy Mandarin student-centered approach tailors teaching materials to meet individual needs, fostering creativity and bolstering motivation and achievement. Incorporating diverse activities such as arts and crafts, role plays, live dialogues, show and tell, and friendly competitions, we promote active participation and effective language use. Furthermore, we provide comprehensive after-class support to ensure thorough understanding and retention of weekly learning content for each Happy Mandarin student.

The curriculum draws from HSK1, 2 ,3, 4 and 5 standard course books, ensuring a well-rounded and standardized learning experience. The HSK (汉语水平考试, Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì) is the dominant international recognised proficiency test for learners of Chinese mandarin. It is equivalent to TOEFL and IELTS where it is an added value for school application, internship or work placement where Chinese is used as well as scholarship application.
